If you were to dust off your 1960's copy of " The Adventurer's Guide to Africa " you might find the small
gold-mining village of West-Nicholson...and if you looked hard, there beside the Umzingwane river
you might see a small boy under a large khaki hat, sunburned nose, paper and pencil in hand...that
would be me.
I have never been too far from the bushveld and art since then...my journey as an artist has certainly
been an interesting one, like a traverse through the Zambezi Valley, filled with exhilarating highs and
stifling lows. Along the way I have been fortunate to experience some of the finest wilderness areas in
the world and I have met some of the finest people in the world, what more could anyone ask for ?
To my wonderful family and friends around the world and to the many patrons who have supported
me over the years, my work is dedicated to you...thank-you,
May we sit around the campfire again soon !
